Understanding Science

My son picked up this bunch of magazines from a recycling shop at the Motueka tip a few years back. He read all 60 of them cover to cover and it didn't do his understanding of science any harm at all. As for me, I liked the cover art - there's something very reassuring about blokes turning dials, stirring evil liquids and messing with equipment.

The magazines were published in England in the early 60's by the good people at Sampson Low - costing 2 shillings per copy . The price of 52 weekly copies was 6 pounds 10.

I've added some photos of the covers here
